fantasy trade help

A guy in my league is looking to trade me Adrian Peterson, Thomas Jones, & Santonio holmes for me to give him Chris Johnson & Reggie Wayne. I am rather thin at) and this would give me AP, T jones, & Cedric Benson.

I think my wr's would still be pretty decent with desean jackson,anquan boldin,derrick mason, patrick crayton, and nate washington.

I think I'd be getting a good deal making my rb core a lot better without losing too much on my wrs as I think wayne will be great but as the #1 reciever will be getting double covered often.

Any opinions would help

In my opinon, you're basically giving up Chris Johnson & Reggie Wayne for only Adrian Peterson.

I don't see Thomas Jones doing that much anymore with the Jets finally recognizing they have something special in Leon Washington.

And since you are already ok at the WR position, Santonio Holmes isn't going to help you much.

The only thing that you may want to consider is a comment by Tennessee's coach a day or two ago that LenDale White may start getting more of the short yardage/goalline carries, which could possibly take away from Chris Jonson somewhat....

I like Holmes. I would make this trade. Buying low on Holmes IMO. AP and Benson as your RBs is very nice.

If this is a PPR league, I would probably shy away from this trade because Johnson and Wayne have a much higher value there. If it is just yardage and TDs, I think you definitely make the deal. I agree that Thomas Jones is pretty worthless, but Holmes should give you nice production since the Steelers don't have much of a running game. Peterson is also the best player in the deal and whenever you are getting the best player it isn't a horrible idea to make the trade.
